1New Checking Requirements and Rules:

  • Offer available until October 31, 2026, and is not available to existing MCNB Banks checking customers. The offer is not available to those whose accounts have been closed within the last 90 days or closed with a negative balance. Limit one new checking bonus per person. Minimum $50 reuired to open the account. All account openings are subject to approval.
  • To receive the bonus, enroll in eStatements and complete one of the following within the first 90 days of account opening:
    • Have 1 direct deposit made to this account. Your direct deposit needs to be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension, or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. Person-to-Person payments (such as Zelle®) are not considered direct deposit. Micro-deposits do not qualify as a direct deposit for the bonus. Micro-deposits are small deposits, typically less than $1, that are sent to your account to verify it is the correct account. -OR-
    • Use your MCNB Visa debit card for 15 or more point-of-sale transactions.
  • After your account has been open for 90 days and you have completed the above requirements, we will deposit the bonue in your new account within 10 business days. To receive the bonus, the enrolled account must no be closed or restricted at the time of payout. Eligibility may be limited based on account ownership. Bonus is considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable). Offer subject to change. 

2Current Customer Referral Bonuses:

  • If your friend opens a checking account in-person,

    1. Get a referral coupon from your local Banking Center and fill in your information on the back side.

    2. Give the form to your friends and family for them to take with them to their local MCNB Banking Center upon account opening.

    3. When they open the qualifying accounts, $100 will be deposited into your chosen MCNB account within 30 days.

 

  • If your friend opens a checking account online,
    1. At the online question “How did you hear about us?”, they can choose “Friends & Family”.
    2. In the next field, ask them to type your full name as it appears on your accounts with MCNB.

    3. When they open the qualifying accounts, $100 will be deposited into your chosen MCNB account within 30 days.
